Chocolate Brownies

INGREDIENTS:

4 tbsp butter 
1 cup chocolate chips
6 tbsp cane sugar
6 tbsp brown sugar
2 eggs
1 ¼ tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup unfalvored/ unsweetened protein powder (our favorite is https://amzn.to/3ONJnXA)
Coarse salt

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Chocolate Melting: In a small saucepan over low heat, melt 4 tbsp of butter with 1 cup of chocolate chips. Continuously stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Add sugar: Combine cane sugar and brown sugar to the melted chocolate/ butter combination. Stir ingredients thoroughly.
  4. Add eggs: Fold in 2 eggs, one at a time, ensuring they are well incorporated into the mixture.
  5. Flavor Boost: Stir in the vanilla extract and add 1-2 dashes of your preferred coarse salt for that extra flavor kick.
  6. Dry Ingredients: Gently fold in the all-purpose flour and protein powder until the mixture is well combined.
  7. Pan Preparation: Line a, 8x6x2 baking dish with parchment paper. Pour the brownie batter into the dish, spreading it evenly. 
  8. Important: Sprinkle 1 to 2 pinches of salt on top of the batter before placing in the oven.
  9. Baking Time: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 38 minutes.
  10. Cooling Period: Allow the brownies to cool and set for at least 30 minutes. This step is crucial for the perfect texture. (For the best result allow to rest overnight)
